The following services are available to Affiliate Users:
Affiliate Users must apply for accounts by completing an Affiliate Registration form.
Group Registration
If a large group of individuals (eg: more than 10), requiring the same type of access, needs to be registered for access at the same time, an Affiliate Group Registration form may be used. (eg. members of a new research centre, affiliated with the University, require internet access).
The form is completed by a representative of the group, and a list of the given names, family names and dates of birth is attached. It is important that all users accept the terms and conditions of access - the representative of the group completing the form, signs to assume responsibility for ensuring the members of the group read the terms and conditions, and accept them online.
Affiliate accounts expire on the day entered in the "End Date of Association" field when the affiliate registration form is submitted. If 'ongoing' or similar phrasing is used the account is activated for one year only.
If you are leaving the University and have a University email address, please make arrangements for your email to be forwarded to another address.
If you are an affiliate of the University (eg: you hold an Honorary Appointment, or are employed through a business providing services to the University) please submit an affiliate registration form to renew your access. Access is granted for a maximum of 1 year, so ongoing access must be renewed annually.
If you are an affiliate through an affiliated organisation your organisation may renew your access with a Group Registration Form. You may check at your organisation whether this is the case.
