IT Strategic Plan
The key purpose of the IT Strategic Plan is to define the directions necessary to ensure IT is adding as much value as possible to support the University’s strategic direction. Accordingly this plan is aligned with, and supports, the Institutional Strategic Plan 2011-2015 ‘Building Distinction’. It will continue to be refined as the Faculties and Divisions develop their understanding of the business implications of the University’s revised strategy and their ensuing requirements for IT.
With an ever- increasing reliance on IT by students, staff and affiliates to the University, it is essential that this IT Strategic Plan focuses on enhancing our IT services to align with the needs of the University’s core business, while also ensuring that existing IT services are maintained and the IT environment is robust and sustainable.
