Staff Employed on Research Grants

Where research grants offer superannuation the above rules apply. If superannuation is not offered and the employment contract is for 12 months or longer the University contributes on your behalf to provide a basic level of superannuation. For this purpose you are required to complete the Accumulation Super Application Form contained in the back of the ‘Welcome – Product Disclosure Statement for Accumulation Super (1) members.

Commencement of salary payments cannot occur until the completed Application Form is returned to Human Resource Services.

NOTE: These rules do not apply to staff members who are under the age of 18 or over the age of 70.
