
New Professors Talk - Darryl Knight
The New Professors Talk lecture series introduces you to the new people in our community and shares the knowledge and expertise of these leading commentators and thinkers.
On Wednesday, 26 June Professor Darryl Knight will be speaking about 'The promise of stem cells in the treatment of chronic lung diseases. Is it all just hot air?'
Professor Knight researches asthma and idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis - diseases that affect more than ten per cent of Australians.
He was recently appointed as Head of the School of Biomedical Sciences and Pharmacy, completed postdoctoral training at the University of British Columbia after taking a PhD at the University of Western Australia.
Join us to welcome Professor Darryl Knight to our community through the New Professors Talk series.
This is a free public lecture. Refreshments will be served after the lecture.
