New IT Governance Framework
The University has adopted an IT Governance Framework that will direct, measure and evaluate our IT investment to best support the strategic goals of the NeW Directions Strategic Plan 2013 - 2015.
Through leadership, organisation structure and processes, IT investment will be managed to minimise risk, optimise value and support performance. Implementing IT Governance is iterative and occurs at strategic, tactical and operational levels, in line with stakeholder priorities.
The tiered model sets out clear responsibilities and accountabilities across IT Governance-themed Advisory Groups that are supported by the IT Governance Portfolio Office. These groups report through the Strategic IT Committee (SITC) to the Vice-Chancellor and University Executive.
