Welcome back after the Easter break.

In this issue of In the Loop, we have information on the transition of all staff from the Groupwise email system to Microsoft Office 365.  In a huge project for our IT staff, every staff member will have their archives transferred from the old to the new and their systems brought up to date.  The article outlines how this will be achieved.

We also have updates on new IT project governance procedures, the 2013 Alumni Awards, two new exhibitions in the University Gallery, new nib products and the chance to participate in an asthma study.

Also, in a first for UoN, a computer equipment collection day is being held on Tuesday 23 April in Carpark 5 (south of Shortland Union) between 8am and 12pm.  You are free to bring all your superseded computer equipment for recycling (see the article for exclusions).
