Branding in City Centre

Many staff have noticed the University of Newcastle flags on 31 lamppost banners in the Newcastle CBD. They have been placed on the block circled by King Street, Darby Street, and Hunter Street and will be supported with six flagpole banners (Customs House roundabout and Nobby's Foreshore roundabout) from next month.

The brightly-coloured flags are a small start to the much larger task of building the University brand and reputation of the University in our communities. They create a celebratory feel around University House and align with the Orientation / Welcome flags currently on display at Callaghan campus.
