Want to win $1,000 for a job well done? Prize pool of $11,000 up for grabs!

Creating career-ready graduates is a focus of the University of Newcastle and the WIL Awards recognise outstanding performance by students and academic/professional staff who have achieved excellence in terms of WIL activity.

WIL Staff of the Year Awards

The WIL Staff of the Year Award aims to encourage, recognise and value the way our University integrates learning with workplace, leadership and community experiences and those who successfully provide those opportunities to our students. Staff involved in WIL at the University have a chance to win $1, 000 (before tax), awarded to the winning entry from each of the five faculties.

WIL Student of the Year Awards

Has completing an internship, practicum, clinical or work placement, on or off campus, been a part of your students program? Then they may be eligible to apply for the 2013 Work Integrated Learning (WIL) Awards, and win a share of a $6, 000 prize pool.

Domestic and international undergraduate students can apply for the awards with $1,000 awarded to the chosen students from each of the University's five faculties. A $1,000, university wide WIL Award will also be available for a post-graduate student.
