The University of Newcastle 2013 Sports Awards

University recognises sporting excellence - Friday 6 September

The outstanding achievement of combining sporting success and academic life has been recognised with the announcement of the finalists in the University of Newcastle Sports Awards.

The Sports Awards will be presented on Friday 6 September and will feature the presentation of the prestigious University Blues and Colours honours as well as sport scholarships, Sports Club of the Year and the Sports Person of the Year.

Guest speaker will be Peter FitzSimons, one of Australia's best known authors, journalists and sports commentators.
