Personal training sessions growing in muscle
NUsport and the University are committed to providing healthy lifestyle options for staff of the University.
The aim is to increase the physical and mental well-being of staff who are mostly desk bound throughout the day with a fitness program. The program is guided by a personal trainer to teach the participants the types of exercises that will complement their lifestyles and get them feeling good both physically and mentally.
Due to growing popularity the Healthy Body - Healthy Mind Challenge continues in 2013.
The challenge runs for 8 weeks meeting with a personal trainer for an hour three times a week. The Forum personal trainers will track fitness levels and improvements made over this time.
Participants are placed into groups of 10 to motivate each other. Participants keep a blog about their experience to inspire the University community.
The program is free during the 8 week challenge.
If you would like to participate in future programs, contact Diane Bunch, Safety and Well-being Advisor, Health and Safety on ext 17721.
