ATEM Institutional Membership
The University's NeW Directions strategic plan supports professional development initiatives for professional staff to support career development.
The University is a corporate member of the Association for Tertiary Education Management (ATEM), a professional association for administrators and managers working in the tertiary education sector in Australasia. ATEM provides professional development opportunities such as conferences, industry training, discussion forums and networking specifically for the Tertiary Education sector.
Our corporate membership entitles the University to appoint 20 institutional members, who will have access to all the benefits of ATEM membership. Expressions of interest are now open to professional staff to nominate for institutional membership.
To be eligible for nomination, nominees must be members of professional staff who are either ongoing or on a fixed term appointment greater than 12 months.
Professional staff and their supervisors are strongly encouraged to submit an expression of interest. Self-nomination is allowed.
