Did you know that a new Alumni Chapter is being launched in the Hunter? The launch event , featuring comedian (and Alumni) Mikey Robins, will be held on Thursday 6 December at City Hall. Click on the article on the left for more details.
Vintage: The lost works of Max Dupain is to be showcased at the Universtiy Galley until the end of the month. These beautiful images of wine grape vintages in the Hunter, shot by iconic photographer Max Dupain, give us a glimpse into the Hunter's farming history. University of Newcastle historian Dr Julie McIntyre will also be launching her book First Vintage: Wine in Colonial New South Wales, which includes these images along with others.
The Work Integrated Learning (WIL) Awards have been announced! Found out who have been honoured this year for their innovative work in this area.
From 2013, all students will need to complete a University Academic Intergrity Module as part of their studies. Make sure you read about the requirements of the AIM as all staff will need to be aware of what it entails.
Also from 2013, academic staff will accrue and apply for the annual leave through HRonline. More details will be available next year.
