UoN 9th Most Active Organisation globally (Education & Training) in GCC
441 people from 63 teams collectively walked across the United States 95 times! This means they have burnt off 90,536 slices of chocolate cake, the equivalent of being on a cross-trainer for 54 minutes every day.
This is a great achievement for our teams, with 41% reporting a loss in weight and a total reported weight loss of 209 kilograms.
79% reported a positive impact on their attitude to exercise and 92% said they were more conscious about adding exercise to their day.
All UoN teams did very well. The top three are:
- 1st place - Security Services Team (average step count 23,799)
- 2nd place - School of Architecture and Built Environment (average step count 23,688)
- 3rd place - Academic Globe Trotters (average step count 19,959)
Congratulations to everyone involved!
