Launch of new Orientation website

New staff - or those just thinking about working here - now have a fabulous resource to help them settle in to the University of Newcastle.

The website www.newcastle.edu.au/staff/orientation sets out all the steps in a simple, wide-ranging way, making the process easy.  Thinking of Working Here? presents all the benefits of working at UoN and the lifestyle of Newcastle and the Hunter Valley.  Starting Out has all the information needed in the first weeks of a new appointment, while Your First Six Months looks at information new staff may require as they settle in.

The revamp is part of a broader aim of developing Orientation further within the local workplace, with an overall goal of delivering an improved staff experience.
