SSAF starts semester 2

In October 2011 the Australian Parliament passed legislation allowing universities and other higher education providers to charge a Student Services and Amenities Fee (SSAF) from January 1, 2012.

UON will be introducing the fee starting Semester 2, 2012. The introduction of this fee is an opportunity to expand a range of services and amenities for all our students.

We reviewed over 4,000 student responses to surveys, read more than 400 comments on our Facebook page and consulted with student representatives to develop key student priorities. 

The University is committed to continuing this consultative process.  This includes involving students with how the SSAF will be spent in 2012 and future years.
