Autonomy Day: now for staff and students

This year we will celebrate UoN’s history and autonomy over a week of festivities beginning on Thursday 2 August, and finishing with Autonomy Day on Friday 10 August (not Friday 3 August as previously advertised).

A number of different activities and events for both students and staff are on schedule for the week with an emphasis on fun, celebration and interactions across the full student community.

More information about what is on and where to buy tickets will soon be available at the UoN Services website.

We also want to remind you to take care of your own safety as you participate in the various activities during the week, watch out for your friends and behave responsibly.

Our University has come a long way, from humble beginnings as a locally focussed institution to one that is truly global in its outlook. Visit the Toward UoN50 website or look through the flickr album to see learn more about this journey.
