UoN Chamber Choir heading off to compete in USA

Before they go, come along and enjoy a fantastic concert, Sunday 3 June, 2.30pm at the Harold Lobb Concert Hall, Newcastle Conservatorium.

It's the University of Newcastle Chamber Choir's farewell concert before they head off to the USA to represent the University and the Hunter as part of the Rhythms of One World Festival at the United Nations in New York.  They will then compete in the 2012 World Choir Games in Cincinnati.

The choir is looking to do even better than they did in China in 2010!!

Along the way they will also be performing at a special invitation only reception at the Australian Embassy in Washington DC, with other concerts in Boston and Bermuda.

They need your support!

Taking 37 singers to the US for three weeks costs seriously!

Come along to the concert, bring family and friends and have a great time.  It's an easy way to help raise funds to cover part of the cost.

The University is generously underwriting a very large part of the cost, but the Choir still needs to raise as much as possible.
