Special Studies Program

The Special Studies Program (SSP) supports the commitment of the University to provide opportunities for academic staff to participate in development activities.

It applies to academic staff seeking to undertake a program of study that is consistent with their role and responsibilities at the University.

Applications for Semester 1, 2013

Applications for SSP commencing Semester 1, 2013 will close at 5pm 1 June 2012.  Applications must be submitted using the SSP Application Form.

Please read the SSP Policy and the SSP Procedures prior to lodging your application.

Applicants are responsible for ensure that their application (including Head of School report) is submitted to Gina Caddies, SSP coordinator, Human Resource Services by the closing date.  Applications can be lodged electronically by emailing Gina.Caddies@newcastle.edu.au

Late applications will only be accepted in exceptional circumstances with the written approval of the Pro Vice-Chancellor.
