Is your workstation healthy?
Returning to work after a break is always a good time to take a moment to reflect on how you work.
How you work at your workstation is one of the areas that can have negative impact on your health if it is not given adequate consideration. This can be caused by your posture while you work, your chair or desk height, or even how far away your computer screen is from you.
Healthy solutions do not have to be difficult. Small changes can make a big difference!
- The Health and Safety Ergonomics webpage has a range of useful information about how to set up your workstation and also other ways to make sure that you are taking care of yourself while at work
- The Ergonomic Self Assessment allows you to work through your workstation setup and identify any improvements which can be made.
Once you have completed the checklist, you can contact the Health and Safety Team to discuss any issues that you have identified and may need assistance with.
