Nominate an achiever

Do you know a young leader who demonstrates initiative, creativity and dedication in both their professional career and community life?

If you do, then you can nominate them for the University of Newcastle Leadership Award and give them the opportunity to win $10,000 towards their future career development.

The Leadership Award is for people aged between 25 to 39 years, who live and work in the Central Coast, Hunter and Mid-North Coast regions.

“We consider that today’s young leaders are the key to the future and that it is dynamic leadership that will ensure delivery of world class innovation to our regional communities. This is why investing in our young people today is vital for the community to reap rewards tomorrow,” University of Newcastle Vice-Chancellor, Professor Caroline McMillen, said.

The presentation of the Award will be made at the Chancellor's Dinner on Wednesday 30 May 2012.
