Celebrate our cultural richness and diversity

Held on Wednesday 21 March, Harmony Day is an annual celebration of the cultural richness and diversity that makes Australia such a great place to live.  The aim is to build social cohesion through the promotion of Respect, Participation and a sense of Belonging.

The celebrations at Callaghan will last the whole week, from 19 - 23 March, bringing together staff and students to share in this exciting and meaningful event.

Sport - play, engage, inspire

The Harmony Day theme for 2012 is Sport - play, engage, inspire.  This recognises the important role and positive influence that sport has in our multicultural nation.

A packed schedule of events

There is a week of on-campus events and will include live entertainment, a guest speaker, dynamic cultural stalls, A Taste of Harmony luncheon, and a Harmony sports and games day.
