Hands-on with iPad2

The Centre for Teaching and Learning is running an informal session for staff to get their hands-on an iPad2, and to discuss the potential application of these and similar tablet computing devices to their teaching and general work practices.

The session is aimed at staff with little or no prior experience with an iPad and will include orientation to basic operations and functions.

It will include examples of applications (apps), including the free Blackboard app that has been adopted by many staff and students.

You do not need to own an iPad2 to participate in this workshop.
