Creating video for online learning contexts
New self-paced online workshop, enrolment will open mid-November via HRonline
CTL has a new self-paced online workshop that has been designed for staff who intend to develop video resources for use in online and blended courses.
The workshop topics include:
- aligning the use of video resources with specific course objectives and learning activities; and
- creating, editing and uploading educational video resources into online course environments.
This workshop will open for enrolment in mid-November. Once you have nominated for this workshop via HRonline, CTL will email you further instructions, including how to access the course via Blackboard. Once enrolled, you will be able to complete the workshop at your own pace.
Additional self-paced workshops available via HRonline include:
- Orientation to online teaching
- Introduction to multi-campus teaching
- Using discussion boards
Learning Development in 2011
Academic Language and Learning Advisers have worked with staff across the University to provide academic literacy resources for students at all levels of study. Our activities ranged from in-lecture information sessions, adjunct workshops and guided tutorial and assessment task activities to support course outcomes. The team in Learning Development can work with academic staff to prepare resources and workshops for a diverse range of courses.
If you are co-ordinating a course in 2012, we can help your students with tailored resources and activities.
Contact Keith Foggett, Co-ordinator of Learning Development for more information.
