Make Email Work For Us

Welcome to Make Email Work For Us. This initiative is a response to staff feedback about the need to create and implement protocols and practices which assist all staff to better manage the quality and quantity of email. It aims to:

  • Provide ideas that will help keep email as an effective tool not a torment, and
  • Tap into the knowledge and experiences of academic and professional staff about good email practice.

Our goal is to have you notice a change in the way the University uses email, leading to better workplace communication (with less email!).

I learned that to highlight the relevant information in the subject heading means I can get my message across quickly and effectively. I also learned that by adapting the content or message, asking specific questions and indicating a date to respond, I can manage my workload more efficiently.   2. Click on the Register button, and complete the registration details.
