University of Newcastle Health and Safety Management System

The University of Newcastle Health and Safety Management System is based on AS/NZS 4801:2001 - Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems - Specification with Guidance for use.

Our Health and Safety Management System aims to minimise and continually reduce the incidence of occupational injuries and illnesses and to integrate safe working practices into all areas of the organisation.

The following includes the Health and Safety Management System Manual and supporting documents for the Australian campuses of the University of Newcastle. They describe the core elements of the University's Health and Safety Managment System and their interaction and provides direction to related documentation.
