The Employee Relations team provides the following services for staff members of the University:

Awards and Workplace Agreements: drafting, negotiation, implementation, interpretation and advice;

Industrial policy and procedure formulation;

Professional Staff Classification Review administration;

Enterprise Agreements 2010
It has been decided that in future the University will refer to General Staff as Professional Staff because this better reflects the type of work and the status of the work that such staff are carrying out. When the next Enterprise Agreement is being negotiated the title will be changed to reflect this. The name of the Agreement cannot be changed at this point.
