Whether you have only a few specific areas you’d like to improve in, if you need more general help with concepts, or perhaps you’ve forgotten or missed out on being taught some of the basic underlying principles of maths in the area you’re studying, we can help!

 

This is a great service offered to all students, specifically if you’re studying pre-undergraduate maths and related courses, first year maths, or undergraduate courses related to maths or containing maths components.

New student maths space

Come to room MCG46 and work wit hother students on maths in a quite space for a group from your course by booking ahead. A maths advisor will be on hand at certain times to provide input.

To Register for a maths appointment
  1. Go to www.newcastle.edu.au
  2. From the quicklinks menu select online services
  3. Select registration system
  4. Login
  5. Click on other registrations in the left hand menu
  6. Under Learning Support Program select a workshop appropriate for your campus
  7. Click on register
  8. Where a date and time are available, register by clicking book
  9. You will receive confirmation of your booking on screen and via a confirmation email
