First Year Experience Project Grants Symposium

Symposium: 8.30 - 5.00 pm
Wine and Cheese: 5.00 pm at the University Gallery

This whole-day symposium on the first-year experience at University of Newcastle focuses on three broad areas: supporting students entering first year, providing purpose and direction for the future for first-year students, and supporting students to succeed in first year.

The program for the day includes the presentation of all this year's First Year Experience Projects, grouped thematically into three sessions, a keynote address by Dr Bill Gladstone, a first-year student panel, and a plenary session.

Lunch, and morning and afternoon tea, will be provided, and the day will end with wine and finger food at the University Art Gallery at 5pm.
