Centre for Teaching and Learning Research Committee
The Centre for Teaching and Learning (CTL) Research Committee actively supports research collaboration between CTL staff and faculty staff. The members consist of CTL academics, teachers and professional staff from various professional backgrounds such as engineering, education and the social sciences, environmental science, mathematics and physical sciences, design, communication and information technology, journalism, drama, fine arts and music.
CTL academic staff members are eligible to supervise Research Higher Degree students in conjunction with faculty staff, whilst staff in educational design, technical and learning development roles can contribute educational design expertise, technical support and co-authorship where applicable. For further information about staff research, access the Researcher Profiles webpage, searchable by area of expertise or name.
CTL research support activities
The research committee regularly provides a forum for staff, RHD students and invited speakers to present papers on the scholarship of teaching and learning and research support services. In 2012, selected activities will be promoted through the staff training and development calendar in HR-online and on the CTL news and events page.
