LexisNexis recognises and rewards demonstrated excellence and innovation in the teaching of law in regional universities.

Nominations are invited from teachers that show demonstrated excellence and innovation in:

  • curriculum advancement and pedagogical improvements in their courses;
  • engagement with students in order to achieve outstanding learning results;
  • innovation of learning design including the use of technology to achieve improved learning results for students.

ACE Quality Teaching Award

The NSW Minister for Education and Training and Australian College of Educators NSW Quality Teaching Award is among the most prestigious teaching awards in Australia.

Applications are open to all government and non-government permanent, part-time or casual teachers in NSW, including university teachers.

Teachers are required to self-nominate for this Award.

The initial application process involves the preparation of a professional learning portfolio, and nominating three referees. Applicants who are short-listed will then undergo a work place visit by assessors.

Teachers interested in applying for this award should advise CTL of their intention to do so, and also seek support from their Head of School.
