Grants, Awards and Fellowships

The Centre for Teaching and Learning (CTL) aims to recognise and reward excellence and innovative practice in teaching. To do this, CTL offers support and advice for staff wishing to apply for teaching and learning awards, grants and fellowships. Our Grants and Awards Officer Julie Moulton is available to advise applicants and ensure the process is clear and achievable.

Julie is the Institutional Contact Officer for all UoN nominees and applicants. Her role involves walking applicants through the process, making them aware of the requirements of each program and helping to gather evidence to support their application. Our aim is to match nominees with a mentor in their discipline area to give additional support. We also offer workshops for grant and award nominees and applicants, and assistance in preparing application components within realistic time-frames.

A number of Grants, Awards and Fellowships are open to staff at the University Newcastle. You can find more information about them on these pages: UoN Grants, Awards and Fellowships for our own institutional awards, you’ll find national awards on the OLT Grants, Awards and Fellowships or check the External Grants, Awards and Fellowships for other opportunities.

CTL offers support and advice for all UoN and national teaching and learning grant and award applicants. To apply please contact Grants and Awards Officer Julie Moulton Julie.Moulton@newcastle.edu.au
