Individual Consultations
An individual consultation is an opportunity for you to discuss assessment tasks and study processes related to Academic Skills, English Language and Mathematics.
You should prepare for a consultation. Firstly, think about whether you really need this assistance. Go to the Learning Development Blackboard Course to see the workshops and resources you can access. They might be the right kind of help for you.
If you still want to talk with a Learning Adviser, you should:
- plan ahead so that you have time to apply what you learn in the consultation
- think about the specific problems you are having with your study or assignments
- bring any relevant documents you have: the course outline, the assignment question, your current draft of the assignment, notes and questions
