TEHE6010 Principles and Practice of Higher Education

Day 1 – Tue, 5th June, 9 am – 4 pm, Treehouse, Shortland Building

Day 2 – Tue, 19th June, 9 am – 4 pm, Treehouse, Shortland Building

Plus five 3-hour workshops from the following offered throughout the trimester. Please note the all day classes will be held at the Callaghan Campus

  1. Teaching portfolio
  2. Reflective report on peer review and feedback on teaching.

Both assessment items are due on the 17th Aug 2012. Feedback will be provided by individual consultation on 4th and 5th Sep

This 10 credit point course is a core course and a prerequisite for other courses in the Graduate Certificate in the Practice of Tertiary Teaching Program (GCPTT). As this is a postgraduate course, a minimum of 120 hours of contact with the course is required.
