The UNISS Vision

The University of Newcastle Industry Scholarship Scheme (UNISS) is about partnership and commitment. UNISS scholars are provided with access to outstanding professional degree programs that combine quality education with meaningful industry experience.

The vision of UNISS is to provide an opportunity for scholars to gain valuable industry experience that will assist their development as outstanding professionals. One of the aims of UNISS is to actively contribute to the development of Australia's industry leaders of the future through recognising and nurturing talent.

UNISS scholars enjoy the benefits of close association with industry and gain valuable skills and experience with no long-term obligation. UNISS scholars are highly regarded by industry and keenly sought by employers who need talented graduates with proven industry skills.
