Semester 2 Orientation 2008

International Students

The University runs an Orientation program for International students prior to the commencement of each Semester, Trimester and ELICOS intake.

Orientation sessions are designed to provide consistent information to students in compliance with University and Government policies and procedures, with regards to studying on a Student Visa. Students are provided with information on available support services and the rights of a student. Topics covered at orientation include enrolments and visa compliance, support and welfare services, overseas health cover, personal safety, etc. Each intake includes a free tour of the City and Beaches of Newcastle.
