Bachelor of Podiatry at Ourimbah in 2007*

Be among the first to study Podiatry at the University of Newcastle's Ourimbah campus with our opening intake of students in 2007.

Graduate in three years and step into your podiatry career sooner. The University of Newcastle's podiatry program is run over three years to shorten your time to graduation. The pace will be rapid and the content interesting and exciting as you develop the skills and knowledge to practise podiatry.

Opportunities for employment in Podiatry are excellent. With a current shortage in Australia, Podiatrists are in high demand.

On average we walk 10,000 steps a day. Over a lifetime this is equivalent to walking around the planet more than four times. At some stage, between 75 and 80 per cent of the adult population will have a foot problem, and experience pain with each step, or worse still, an inability to walk. This is when we might need a podiatrist.
