National Priority and Other Commonwealth Supported Courses

This page applies to the following two groups of students

Pre-2008 Commonwealth Supported Students who are Australian citizens, holders of an Australian humanitarian visa, Australian permanent residents or New Zealand citizens and commenced their studies from 2005 on, but before 2008, i.e. in 2005, 2006, or 2007.
2008 Commonwealth Supported Students who are Australian citizens, holders of an Australian humanitarian visa, Australian permanent residents or New Zealand citizens and commencing their studies in 2008.

On the student contribution page for each of the above student groups. the table called 2008 Student Contribution by Academic Subject Area shows subject areas grouped into Bands. It allows you to calculate the amount of your student contribution.

Most courses in the EDUC subject areas are in the National Priority Band. However, some are in Band 1 or 2 as shown in the following table.
