What is Involved?

There are 5 main areas of participation required to complete the program: 

  1. Complete the Online Induction
  2. Participate in nine Skill Building Lectures
  3. Participate in four International Leaders Series (ILS) speaker events.
  4. Accumulate 100 iLEAD points through Activities such as volunteering, Study Abroad, and short programs.
  5. Attend an iLEAD Completion Ceremony to finish off your program.

You do not have to complete iLEAD in 1 year. You can take your entire degree to finish the program.

The iLEAD Short Program

This program has been designed for inbound Study Abroad & Exchange students who have come to study at the University of Newcastle from a partner institution. Post Graduate Course work students can also participate in the Short iLEAD Program.

  4. Accumulate 50 iLEAD points through Activities such as volunteering, Study Abroad, and short programs.
  5. Attend an iLEAD Completion Ceremony to finish off your program.
