Your New Journey
What a wonderful achievement attaining your degree! Enjoy your graduation and celebrations.
Oh the places you'll go
As you know, graduation from university signifies another important milestone. In the process of negotiating this life transition, you're likely to encounter some wonderful opportunities and unexpected challenges.
Many new graduates feel proud of their achievements and are optimistic about the future. Of course, periods of uncertainty and disappointment are also part of the journey. It's not unusual to doubt yourself, feel lost or lose confidence temporarily if your job search doesn't produce immediate results.
A recent Australian Graduate Pathways Survey* found that many graduates take a few years to establish their careers. Five years after graduating with a Bachelor degree, three-quarters of graduates surveyed were full time employed, 16% worked part-time and 10% were otherwise engaged.
