UoN Final

On Friday 14 September 2012, 18 competitors from across all faculties took part in the University of Newcastle final in the challenge to explain their research to a non-specialist audience in 3 minutes.

The judging panel consisted of Prof Trevor Waring (former Chancellor), Mr Andrew Cornwell MP (Member for Charlestown) and Ms Lisa Sutton-Gardner (Managing Director - Enigma Communications).

The winners of the University of Newcastle final were:

1st place - Vincent Candrawinata -  PhD (Food Science)
