UCinema - Movie Monday (Callaghan)

Where: Derkeyne Courtyard
The newly renovated Derkenne Courtyard (in the Shortland Building) is now host to a cinema! Come and sit amongst the sunshine or stars and watch some lovely films with your friends, or come along to meet new people!
Featuring both old and new films, relive some memories or make some new ones.

The Amazing Race - (Callaghan)

REGISTRATION REQUIRED
Get into the competitive spirit and prepare for an Amazing Race challenge like no other. Meet new people and get to know the campus in a fun interactive way; make your way around campus with your team to visit the various checkpoints and complete the checkpoint challenges. Enter your ‘passport’ scorecard at the final checkpoint for your chance to win some amazing prizes.

Every Wednesday is Wind Up Wednesday at Bar on the Hill.There are free bar snacks, $4 spirits and $3.50 beer and wine. Come and enjoy live music and a drink on the verandah.

Evening – Free Shopping Centre Tour (Callaghan)

Where: Departing Design Bus Stop

Jump aboard for some retail therapy! The International Office is hosting a free shopping centre tour departing Callaghan campus by coach and travelling to one of Newcastles shopping malls. Fashion, jewellery, electronics, whitegoods, bed linen, and food items are just some of the items on offer. Coaches will return to Callaghan Campus by 9pm.

O Party (Callaghan)
Time: 7pm to 11:55pm
Where: Bar on the Hill
Cost: Free for students!
Kick off the new year with the massive O Party. Run away to the circus at our Carnival themed celebration, get creative and have a blast.
Nelson Bay Dolphin Cruise (Callaghan)
Time: 9.30 am to 4.30 pm
Where: Departing Math Bus Stop (Map Ref B – C5) by 10.00am sharp.
Cost: $25.00
REGISTRATION REQUIRED
Join us for a spectacular day out at picturesque Nelson Bay aboard Moodshadow Cruises. Sail the protected Nelson Bay waters for Dolphin spotting and bring your camera and cossies (bathing suit) to try out the boat’s splash net. You will have a chance to explore the marina and shopping centre of Nelson Bay prior to boarding your coach to return to Callaghan campus by 4.30pm.
The cost for this adventure is only $25 per person, billed to your student account. Seats are limited for this event so registration is required.
