Callaghan Campus

Location: University Drive, Callaghan NSW 2308

  • Bus Services – The campus has two bus stops, the Maths bus stop and the Design bus stop. Newcastle buses run many different services to these stops. Bus timetables can be found at http://www.131500.com.au/
  • Train services – Warabrook train station is located a few minutes walk from The Forum, which is located on the north eastern side of campus. Train timetables can be found through http://www.131500.com.au/
  • Cycling– The campus has a number of bike racks and for those who cycle to campus (check out  campus maps for more information). The campus is accessible via a number of cycling pathways. For more information on cycling to campus, click here.
  • Car / Motorcycle – Parking is available on campus and students must park in designated parking bays and not in staff or restricted parking. It should be understood that during periods of peak demand there could be insufficient parking spaces on the campus in close proximity to major buildings. You are requested to plan ahead and arrive early enough to find a suitable parking space. Free parking bays are available for motorcycles and no permits are required.
  • Security Shuttle – A free shuttle bus driven by Campus Security operates on Callaghan Campus from 8.00am - 12 midnight, Monday to Friday during semester.After 6.30pm, the shuttle will also drop passengers in nearby suburbs. For more information visit the shuttle bus website.

Ourimbah Campus

Location: Chittaway Road, Ourimbah NSW 2258

  • Pony Express – The 'Pony Express' is a FREE Car Park and Ride service that operates from the Tall Timbers Pony Club to the Ourimbah campus. Tall Timbers Pony Club is located on the Pacific Highway at Ourimbah, just north of Ourimbah RSL. The Pony Express service will normally run during the first 6 weeks of the University Semester 1. The shuttle will run continuously between the car park and campus, Monday to Friday from 7:30am to 5pm, then by request. For more information click here.
  • Bus Services – One bus stop is located at the front of campus. Bus timetables can be found at the http://www.busways.com.au/.
  • Train Services – Ourimbah train station is located 10 minutes walk from campus. Train timetables can be found through http://www.131500.com.au/. \
  • Cycling– The campus has a number of bike racks and for those who cycle to campus (check out  campus maps for more information). The campus is accessible via a number of cycling pathways.   • Car / Motorcycle – Parking is available on campus and free of charge, however students must park in designated parking bays and not in staff or restricted parking. City Campus

Location: Cnr King and Auckland Streets, Newcastle NSW 2300

  • Bus Services – There are many bus services which stop close to University House (Cnr of King and Auckland St). Bus timetables can be found at http://www.131500.com.au/. A shuttle bus runs from the City campus to Callaghan campus at 9.15pm Monday to Friday during semester and trimesters.

Tip: A free fare zone exists in the CBD. This is a fantastic way to get around the inner city for free without the hassles of driving or parking. Details can be found here.

  • Train Services – Civic station is a 2 minute walk away from the City campus. Train timetables can be found at http://www.131500.com.au/.
  • Cycle– Bike racks are available to use at the City campus. There is no designated Motorcycle parking for students.
  • Car/ Motorcycle  – There are no designated parking areas for students. Students will need to park their car/ motorcycle in public parking areas. Please note students will have to pay toll fees to park in most areas around the campus during working hours.

Port Macquarie Campus

Location: Widderson St, Port Macquarie NSW 2444

  • Bus Services – Busways run services to and from the Port Macquarie campus. More information can be found at http://www.busways.com.au/.
  • Train Services – The nearest train station to the campus is Wauchope station. Country Link runs services to and from Wauchope; www.countrylink.info/. Busways (Route 335) runs services from Wauchope train station to the TAFE (see www.busways.com.au/ ).
  • Motorcycle – Park in the car park on campus. Parking is free.
  • Car- Parking is free on campus.

Please note: The Port Macquarie campus is part of the TAFE NSW – North Coast Institute.

Sydney CBD

Location: Level 11, 60 Bathurst St, Sydney NSW 2000

  • Bus services – Sydney buses have regular services that run close to the campus; http://www.sydneybuses.info/.
  • Train Services – Town Hall station is a 5 minute walk from campus. Train timetables can be found at http://www.131500.com.au/.
  • Cycle – Bike racks can be found on Clarence St, 5 minutes walk from the campus.
  • Car / Motorcycle – Cinema Centre Car Park is located on Kent St, a 5 minute walk from the campus. Details can be found here. Please note students will have to pay toll fees to park in most areas around the campus during working hours.
