Callaghan

What would be called our home campus is at Callaghan, 12KM west of the city of Newcastle. It caters to around 20, 000 students. A number of our buildings have won awards for outstanding architecture and for imaginative adherence to ecological design principles. The campus itself is located over a 125 hectare site of natural bushland and our ground staff who maintain it are committed to environmental best practice. They ensure that both the native flora and the vast array of fauna that share the bushland with us are treated with care and respect.

Callaghan is well services by both bus and train (there is a railway station adjacent to the campus) and it has excellent access to the freeway.

City Precinct

Although not a campus in the strict sense of the word, we have a significant presence on two sites within the Newcastle City Centre. Our Conservatorium is located in the City precinct, while our Faculty of Law and Graduate School of Business are both located in University House, a landmark art-deco sandstone building directly opposite Civic Park.

Central Coast

The Central Coast has a population of 250,000 and is the fastest growing region in New South Wales. It covers approximately 1,700 square kilometres of spectacular coastal country stretching from the north of Sydney to the southern edge of the Hunter Valley.

The Central Coast has beautiful scenery. Its beaches, lakes and rivers are bordered by a hinterland of national parks and forests. The region supports a thriving tourism industry. The Coast offers a welcoming and relaxed lifestyle, and if you want the pace and buzz of Sydney it's only an hour away by air-conditioned train or by freeway.
