"Music has always been an important part of my life and wherever I went, I knew I'd want to be able to further my music studies. I'm studying a Bachelor of Music with a double major in obo performance and sound engineering. When it came to making a choice lecturers at The University of Newcastle were able to match my study needs much better than other places - and having grown up in Newcastle it made sense to come here.

There's always lots going on and it can get very busy of you want it to. If I had any advice it would be just get involved and you'll get the most out of it. I have and I'm really lucky to be able to study a subject I love, in a great place to learn, full of friendly people with resources everywhere."
