Guaranteed Entry
The University of Newcastle is offering guaranteed Commonwealth Supported Places in selected degree programs, if you have successfully completed:
- TAFE (Certificate III, Certificate IV, Diploma or Advanced Diploma)
or one of the University of Newcastle’s enabling programs:
- Open Foundation
- Newstep
- Yapug

*Guaranteed entry to the Bachelor of Nursing degree requires successful completion of Certificate IV and above or one of the University of Newcastle's enabling programs.

As well as guaranteed entry, you could also get credit from your existing TAFE qualifications towards your university degree.
To Apply
Applications are accepted online through the Universities Admission Centre (UAC).
Applications will be accepted by UAC until 5 February 2009.
