Student Recruitment Services
Our Student Recruitment team is the point of contact for careers advisers for information about the University of Newcastle. We can help you with:
- Ordering copies of our publications
- Arranging a speaker to visit your school (selected regions)
- Answering university-based enquiries
In addition, the student recruitment team attends major metropolitan and regional careers markets across NSW. We host on campus events including Schools Visit Days, Information Days and Advisory Days.
Unilink
The University of Newcastle's Unilink program has been operating since 1991 and aims to inspire students to complete Year 12 and to consider post-secondary education. We vigorously promote access schemes, scholarships and alternative pathways to schools, parents, governments and community groups within our region.
Careers Advisers from schools experiencing poor tertiary transition rates in the Hunter, Central Coast and Port Macquarie/Hastings area are invited to contact the Unilink Coordinator, Kirrily Soper on Unilink@newcastle.edu.au or call 02 4921 5070 to discuss the programs and activities that Unilink can provide for your school and students.
