- A visual guide to the Online Application process is available here.
- The Terms and Conditions of enrolment with Foundation Studies can be found here.
- When you are entering your name you must enter your full name as it appears on formal documentation (eg. Marriage Certificate, Birth Certificate or Passport).
- The first page is to set you up as a user of this online system. After you have registered your email and password you will be redirected to a Login screen. Login here to apply for Yapug.
- Please note that for Yapug Off-Campus study is not an option, you must study On-Campus.
- On the Type of Study page it asks for your study level. Yapug is an Enabling Program.
- There is a section for you to enter if you already have a University of Newcastle student number. If you have applied to or studied at the University of Newcastle before please answer yes to this question. You are able to leave the student number field blank if you are unable to remember your student number. Your student number does not have a ‘c’ in front of it. This is something that you have to add when using the computers on campus. Please do not put the ‘c’ in your online application as the field only allows you to enter 7 characters.
- Before you submit your application please check the Summary Page to ensure that you have correctly entered all of your details. Once you click the submit button you are unable to change any of the details of your application through this system. Please contact the Foundation Studies Office if you have any problems after this time.
- Please print out a copy of the Summary of your application and send it in along with the Evidence of Aboriginality and/or Torres Strait Islander Status Form available on this site. We are not able to process your application until we receive this documentation.
