Statistics is a co-major intended to help students strengthen their understanding of mathematical and statistical principles in relation to their other studies in the sciences, specifically in the collection, analysis and presentation of scientific data. This major can only be taken in conjunction with another major (not including Mathematics. Students interested in focusing their studies predominantly in mathematics and statistics are encouraged to consider the Bachelor of Mathematics or Bachelor of Mathematics/Bachelor of Science offered at this university.

On completion of the Bachelor of Science degree, a graduate will be able to demonstrate:
