To work in business today graduates often require advanced analytical and leadership skills. The Master of Business offers students from a range of disciplines the opportunity to develop knowledge and skills needed to work in a business environment. Through this course students will gain a firm understanding of finance, accounting, decision making, strategic management, organisational behaviour, marketing and international business. Strong emphasis is also placed on the analytical and practical skills needed to utilise this knowledge, as well as on developing group work skills to ensure graduates are prepared to work within professional teams on completion of the degree. Graduates will be well prepared to apply business skills and knowledge in a working environment and through the addition of key analytical knowledge will be able to incorporate and apply previous studies to business situations.
Those seeking to apply will require a recognised Bachelor degree or Postgraduate Diploma. A recognised Diploma, other prior studies or training and additional workplace experience may also be considered as part of an application.
The Master of Business can be completed over 2 trimesters full time, or a part time equivalent.
