Campus Central
Campus Central is the student association at the Ourimbah Campus. Campus Central is democratically run with a Board of Directors made up of representatives from University Students, TAFE Students, Staff, Graduates, Post Graduates and other members of the Campus Community.
Campus Central is the foremost provider of services and facilities for students on the Ourimbah Campus. These include retail outlets, food and beverage, entertainment, sport and recreation and welfare.
Newcastle University Postgraduate Students Association (NUPSA)
NUPSA is the universal representative association for all postgraduate students. Honours students are also invited to attend NUPSA events and workshops. Membership of NUPSA is free.
At NUPSA, we aim to:
- Identify and respond to the needs and concerns of postgraduate students
- Promote the development of a postgraduate community
- Promote the quality of postgraduate education
- Ensure effective representation of the interests and concerns of postgraduate students
Newcastle University Students Association (NUSA)
NUSA is the peak democratic association for undergraduate students. NUSA's core role on campus is focused on the needs and concerns of students, providing independent grievance advice and advocacy. NUSA also provides clubs and societies, activities and events, and assistance with collective organising, course readers, computer services, free lunches, and other health and welfare services for undergraduates.
Newcastle University Sport (NUsport)
Newcastle University Sport (NUsport) is here to help make your uni experience as enjoyable and memorable as possible. There are loads of exciting sporting, fitness and recreational activities that will help you make new friends, keep fit and have a whole lot of fun. Students can take advantage of huge membership discounts while accessing world class facilities. NUsport offers students award winning health and fitness solutions from the convenience of The Forum Sports & Aquatic Centre at the University's Callaghan campus and The Forum Health & Wellness Centre at the city precinct in the heart of Newcastle. We look forward to welcoming you to a membership base that is built upon active minds and healthy bodies.
UoN Services
UoN Services is the leading provider of services and facilities for all students on the Callaghan campus in the Shortland Building, the Bar on the Hill, the Hunter Building, and at the University House (in the City Precinct). Services and facilities include food and beverage outlets, two licensed bars, stationary and arts shops, a printery, a dentist, Day Spa and pathology rooms, as well as a range of other retail services. UoN Services also assists Clubs and Societies and provides a range of activities, events and fun across campus all year.
